Alissa also worked with actor/writer Abby Miller and director Jessica Lowrey on the short film “Certifiable” that stars Abby Miller, Joelle Carter and Kevin Rahm. It is a stand alone short and also a precursor to Abby and Alissa’s pilot “Bronx Kill”.
As a playwright, Alissa has penned the plays: “Survivors” and “The Red Ones”. Both plays had their world premieres in Los Angeles under the direction of Eric Hunicutt. They featured the insane talents of Abby Miller, Michael Cotter, Wes McGee, Rosie Mattia, Austin Highsmith and Brett Del Buono.
As a producer, Alissa has worked extensively on web, viral, and televised marketing. She also segment produced under Nick Cassavetes on New Line Cinema’s feature film My Sister’s Keeper and recently executive produced the narrative short film The Debt Collector, which premiered at the Cinequest Film Festival and NewFilmmakers Los Angeles.
